number 16 (email)

Hey
Thanks very much for your message, it was great to hear from you again!
Cool to hear that you have been catching up with Stef & Rob on Facebook, i'm more of a Myspace man myself ( see http://www.myspace.com/dothedogmusic & also http://www.myspace.com/thebakesys - lots of funny old photos of the band in the "Pics" section ) although i have recently set up a Facebook page for Do The Dog.

Good to hear that the "ska education" we forced upon you years ago has had a lasting effect & that you are still going to lots of ska gigs!

I'm currently living in your old stomping ground of Thatcham with my wife K & 2 daughters, Rachel (6) & Sarah (4) - see attached piccies!

I'm still publishing my skazine - 105 issues to date! Since 1996 i have been working full time on my own ska label Do The Dog Music. K teaches at S Primary School in Thatcham.
Its funny that you mentioned The Hotknives gig in Oxford, i was just thinking about that the other day. Wasn't that the one when Rob got a bit confused on the way home & insisted he was driving towards Newbury when he was actually heading north out of Oxford on the A34!!??!

Thanks for the photos, yeah i do remember playing Blockbusters with your dad, but i don't remember how Rob got the black eye!

I still see Colin & Stef fairly regularly, Colin's wife G is my wife K's best friend (they went to secondary school together). Haven't seen Rob or Stu for absolutely ages! I heard recently that Stu has just become a dad for the first time though.

Anyways, thanks again for your message, yeah it would be cool to keep in touch!

All the best, K
