A

I spent a could of days sailing here with my Grandparents. It was a nice break but I didn't get any work done! Todays my first sociology exam NIGHTMARE! I'd like to come up the weekend starting Friday 19th. It would be great if you could get a day off work but if not we'll have a good time anyway. I'm going to be in major party mood. Please let me know if it's ok then we can decide on my bus times. Good luck on Wednesday - I'll be thinking of you.

Love C x

Hola, Happy New Year. I'm recovering from a wicked hangover, too many cuba libres. Postcard speaks for itself as hot hot hot and I'm burnt burnt burnt.

We're just starting to worry about whether our boatman is going to come and collect us from our private desert island - ever seen 'castaway'! See ya if he does! Chris xx K xxx

Dear A

How are you my pretty? I'm really sad that I haven't been able to see you b4 I came back down south, especially because CP has just been up. But I won't cry & make a fuss. I should be up in Sheffield a bit over the summer and I'll have a car as well so I'll try & come & see you in Leeds. You can show me your new house - I hopes it all going smoothly or as smoothly as can be expected. Home is so normal - boring as ever - I'll be going to the Swan Pub later to find out about working my butt off, eeeugh! Something I'm not looking forward to. Spoke to Wayne last night - lovely - not much to say there really apart from that and why can't I like someone with a decent name. Hope Jonathons well send him my love and also to your family. One thing I am pleased about is that Wimbledon has started I love being a coach potato if front of that. I missed all the good weather down here - (having some trouble spelling) so I'm not going to even be able to tan b4 I do start work Poo Poo all round. See you soon I hope. Lots of love P xxxxxxx Gros Bisous!

Having a good time!! The flight was a nightmare - a 5 hours delay at Gatwick!! Benidorm is great, a bit cold early in the morning but boiling by the afternoon. We went on the human express today and had an excellent time drinking lots and lots of sparkling wine. See ya soon, love L

Hello Hello Leeds

This is one of the nicer post cards that I chose for my little friends here is very hot & sweaty but this morning I see clouds - I expect it will get better. I'm actually staying in a little village called Ville Neuve Loubet. It's really quite cheap compared to the rest of France. ie camping food etc mind you, you do need much else that a big strong man to keep you happy. I ♡ A, sorry I didn't see you but I will soon be close - I will ring you soon love P xxxx & D

Working hard at that all important tan. I'm getting there slowly . I've given up on the diving, I hated the feeling of loads of water on me and spent too much time chocking. There's not much to say about Tioman apart from LUSH. The foods a bit boring. The sea is that amazing emerald green/blue & white sands. Paradise. Staying in a wooden hut with electricity. Wow. I'm due home on the 4th August, can't wait to see you. Loads of love. C xxx STAY PINK

Dear A

Well this is it, I am soon to return to blighty as my Malaysian adventure closes. Hong Kong is quite different big posh cars, well dressed people and v. expensive shops. We've done a bit of half hearted sightseeing and spent a great day sailing. Well, the crew sailed and served lush food and drinks while we sunbathed, swam and went jetting around the bay in a speed boat. Not bad really. See you very soon. Love ya loads C xxx

Hey
Thanks very much for your message, it was great to hear from you again!
Cool to hear that you have been catching up with Stef & Rob on Facebook, i'm more of a Myspace man myself ( see http://www.myspace.com/dothedogmusic & also http://www.myspace.com/thebakesys - lots of funny old photos of the band in the "Pics" section ) although i have recently set up a Facebook page for Do The Dog.

Good to hear that the "ska education" we forced upon you years ago has had a lasting effect & that you are still going to lots of ska gigs!

I'm currently living in your old stomping ground of Thatcham with my wife K & 2 daughters, Rachel (6) & Sarah (4) - see attached piccies!

I'm still publishing my skazine - 105 issues to date! Since 1996 i have been working full time on my own ska label Do The Dog Music. K teaches at S Primary School in Thatcham.
Its funny that you mentioned The Hotknives gig in Oxford, i was just thinking about that the other day. Wasn't that the one when Rob got a bit confused on the way home & insisted he was driving towards Newbury when he was actually heading north out of Oxford on the A34!!??!

Thanks for the photos, yeah i do remember playing Blockbusters with your dad, but i don't remember how Rob got the black eye!

I still see Colin & Stef fairly regularly, Colin's wife G is my wife K's best friend (they went to secondary school together). Haven't seen Rob or Stu for absolutely ages! I heard recently that Stu has just become a dad for the first time though.

Anyways, thanks again for your message, yeah it would be cool to keep in touch!

All the best, K

Alright there my darling, well finally you have received this letter, the hassels of getting a stamp. Well I'm very happy you've found yourself a man (even if he is a rugby player - a good bod I hope) I'm having a very boring life at the moment, work , work of and work, still I'm having quite a good time just working. It's only 4 weeks till easter - excellent hopefully after that I'll be ale to relax because all the application forms will be off. Interviews start April 1st but mine will probably be later. Anyway like I said on the phone I could come and visit you then. It very hard for me to think of anything to write as I've done nothing and more importantly met no one - this I'm pissed off about my stars and tarot cards said to concentrate on my career for the next month, but I want a boyfriend. My tarot cards also said that I would get back together with DT so I think much of them?

Anyway my new name and address is officially:

C Boring P
Boring Halls of Res
Boring St
Boring Town

I love you lots and I expect you're thinking about C a bit like me. Say hello to the 'man' Hoping your sex life's looking good. And tell this man if he shits on you I'll be round to cut of his toes.

Love

CP

Dear A

How's it going Darling? I hope you had a romantic Valentines nights. I'm postponing mine til the weekend. Everything down this end of the world is going well. C is looking for a job in London at the moment, his agent thinks he'll have no problems. He'll be moving up pretty soon so I'll be able to experience domestic bliss!

College is going well, term is flying by, its hard to believe that we're half way through the first term. Easter Term is nearly finished so I'l have 5 weeks holidays, so hopefully I'll be up to see you and your pad. Get those parties arranged girl. Mark and Jules are coming up on Thursday so I'll have to get my party head on. We're going to an acid jazz thing should be good. I am sure I'll know all the Newbury gossip by the time the weeks out. I hope all's well on the job front, have you heard anything more on the London front? It would be fab if you came back to London for a while, loads of shopping and long lunches.

Anyway homework is calling aren't I responsible. Love to the family, take care, write soon.

Loads of love

K
